   Dear Sir,

   For another year, Canada will encourage the killing of hundreds of thousands of seals, to restore the sealing industry of your country.

   I am writing this letter to express my firm refusal of such barbarism, which evidences the real underlying spirit of modern western societies, that is, a totally economic and utilitarian value of the rest of the living beings.

   We are tired of seeing every year the slaughter of seals on the ice, and I think the only way to make you see our anger is boycotting the products of Canadian origin. We will mobilize and not buy anything from your country or travel to it, until your government is able to consider the seals not as a product but as a symbolic animal of Canadian pride, and respectfully treat them.
